HOW IT WORKS

The Directory 2.0 module allows members to maintain relationships through easy to use online tools, as well as encourages members to start new relationships with people they have shared interest with in the community. With features such as "Mutual Friends", "My Connections", and "Introductions", members can build an extensive network of contacts in very short order.

Social networking web sites have become an important means of communicating, collaborating, and staying in touch with friends and colleagues. Members of social networking sites are encouraged to build contact lists and share access to networks with one another. With features like Mutual Friends, My Connections, and Introductions, members of these sites can build an extensive collection of contacts in short order.

Fortunately, nonprofits and faith-based organizations have presented this key opportunity to members for years. Historically, relationships among members was established and maintained through business and social events, committee and volunteer leadership meetings, etc. The end result was a built in network of people with shared interests.

Faith Interactive’s Directory 2.0 module provides member based organizations an innovative way to maintain essential offline relationships. By incorporating the ideal aspects of the social working web, Directory 2.0 moves the offline relationships online and presents meaningful results by focusing and securing connections within the organization’s membership. Essentially, Directory 2.0 allows members to maintain existing relationships through easy to use on-line tools, as well as encouraging members to form new relationships with peers, colleagues, and people with shared interests.

Building Online Communities

The goal of Directory 2.0 is to give all members the power to think of new ways to innovate their core business practices.  To that end, Faith Interactive’s Member Directory 2.0 integrates all of the social views necessary to manage today’s information exchanges.  Our ability to integrate with Church Management Systems (CMS) enables us to provide detailed views regarding industry conferences, comprehensive business network connections and related chapters and committee information.
